Austria is not only considered the winter sports capital of Europe but also popular for summer tourists who visit its historic villages and hike in the magnificent scenery of the Alps. Hotel Hochschober is located in the center of Turracher Höhe, ski resort between Carinthia and Styria region in 1763 meters above the sea level. Since it opened in 1929 the hotel has been under the ownership of Leeb family. Today, the third generation continues running the business.

Hotel Hochschober are furnished in natural wood style with modern bathroom,

work ensures a dapper ambiance and 33 rooms in the main house were given a new
look in the spring of 2013. Two large top-quality suites were added to their range
of rooms in the summer of 2014 and 17 mountain crystal rooms were added to the range
in 2015.

Dining is a special
chapter for Hochschober; in the morning you are can choose from hundreds of
goodies in the breakfast buffet; from local cheese and salami, to salad bar;
from different pastries and bread rolls to home-made butter. Fresh fruits and
vegetables are available to the guest in almost every corner and there is an
also nonstop mountain water fountain.
Lunch is being served in the restaurant with lake view and offers
traditional Carinthia specialties from fresh ingredients such as duck, fawn or
local fishes.

area boosts indoor and outdoor heated pool, panorama sauna, Turkish hammam and
variety of massages, procedures and cosmetics treatments. Water gymnastics takes
place almost every morning, warm and cool water sputters in the outdoor
whirlpools and the view from the spacious relaxation rooms goes as far as the

wax your ski. Skiing in Turracher Hohe is a lot of fun for all the
